Repairs

Repairing square, diamond or coloured glass leaded windows, in situ or extracted, can be a quick and effective way of maintaining your home.

If the lead in a stained glass window has failed then there is not much that can be done other than rebuilding the window. This may necessitate the introduction of new glass, as quite often there are unexpected gaps and adjustments in the original which prevents all the glass being reused. Nevertheless, the result will always be pleasing.

Matching colours or quality of the glass may not be 100%, but this is not normally a problem because variations in the colours or shading is often already a part of the existing window.

I have repaired many windows and a few of the projects have been included in the menu options above.
